Our alpine hut ‘Ast’ is located on a southern mountain slope at 1,850 m above sea level. Located in the sunny Casies Valley, our alpine hut ‘Ast’ offers a unique panoramic view of the mountain range that surrounds the village of St. Magdalena in Val Casies. The alpine hut can be reached from the mountain station of the ski lift via a forest road (approximately 2.5 km). When booking the alpine hut, we will issue a driving permit for the forest road for the duration of your stay. The ‘Alm’ is only a 15-minute drive from the village centre.

Our lodge offers everything you need for an alpine hut holiday in South Tyrol: a large live-in kitchen with a wood stove, an electric stove with ceramic hob, dishes, a kettle, a coffee maker, cooking utensils, and a fridge with freezer compartment.
We provide wood to heat the wood stove in the kitchen: Enjoy the crackling of a blazing fire, warm your body and soul with a cup of tea made from the fresh alpine herbs you have picked and enjoy the view over the extensive flower meadows and the peaks of the surrounding mountains.
Our alpine hut ‘Ast’ offers space for up to 6 persons. It has a large double room and two smaller rooms, each with a French bed (for 2 persons). Bed linen are of course available. Furthermore, our alpine hut is equipped with an electrically heated bathroom with hot and cold water, a shower, and a toilet. We provide bath and hand towels.
