Hiking in Val Casies in South Tyrol

Lovingly designed theme trails, panoramic round-hikes and varied routes turn the Casies Valley into a paradise for your hiking holiday in the Pusteria Valley. In our small valley, soft tourism is especially important, and we keep our nature as untouched as possible. Families may enjoy easy hikes, for example, on the trail ‘Taistner Sagenweg’, where you may discover the four legends from the area around the village of Taisten. Those seeking peace and quiet may visit South Tyrol’s first meditation path, the “Light Path”. The path was designed by a local artist and shows the events from Easter to Pentecost at 14 stations. Active vacationers also enjoy the many high-altitude trails and the harmonious silence of the Casies Valley.

A highlight in the annual rhythm is the ‘Almhüttenfest’ in Casies. Music, conviviality, culinary highlights, and hiking in a fantastic mountain landscape: You won’t find that a second time in South Tyrol!
